Following popular requests, Flowskate now organises youth group sessions, for recreational skating, slalom skating and aggressive skating and now even skateboarding! Groups can be between 2 and 15. Sessions can take place at a number of locations in the cheshire and manchester area. As an ICP level 2 instructor and a BRSF level 2 skateboarding instructor leo can accomodate your every rolling need. Contact flowskate for more details. (participants will be required to wear padding ((knees elbow, wrist guards and helmet)) unless flowskate disclaimer is signed before sessions.)
following developments of south parks skate develpments a jam was organised by maccskate and flowskate to get the park some exposure and celebrate its opening. Leo Oppenheim compared for the event but the rain doused the event early on.. However, a jam continued the session late in the afternoon and a great event was had by all. Check out http://macc-skate.blogspot.com/ fr details of upcoming skating events in the macclesfield area.
Leo Oppenheim gained his ICP level 2 on the weekend of the 8th of may scoring highly. This puts leo in the niche category of high level ICP certified instructors in the UK. Leo is looking forwards to doing his level 3 which is the highest qualification possible with the ICP and will assist him in becoming a better rollerblading instructor and put him in the position to qualify other rollerbladers up north and expand flowskates skate instructing abilities!

Session with The Scottish Rolling Collective at UKSKATE
On the day before Slamm Jam 10 UKskatepark got a visit from a large portion of the Scottish Rolling Collective. Though it was the day before the weekend of Slamm Jam everyone had an amazing session and it was great to meet some quality skaters with real passion for rolling.. Check out http://scottishrolling.com/ for updates of there travels and sessions.
Flowskates Leo Oppenheim took part in the macclesfield half marathon on the 28th of September and finished 23rd! (there was aroind 1300 people running). Having only been running for 2 months, leo beleives his result directly reflects the fitness benifits, both anaerobically and physically. Take note runners or fitness fanatics! Rollerblading is a sure fire way to keep healthy while keeping your knees intact!
Not content with the physical beating the half marathon gave him, leo went for a skate on westpark and had a shot taken of him by local photographic talent Gavin Barber:
Flowskates Leo Oppenheim is now a certified BRSF (british roller sports Federation) level 1 Instructor in skateboarding! Leo will be continuing to develop his skills and qualifications in this area. Anyone interested in skateboarding lessons us know!
